Warzone August 6 update patch notes: Huge RPK nerf, Superi nerf, more

Patch notes for Call of Duty: Warzone’s August 6 update have gone live, detailing a Superi 46 nerf, RPK tweaks, and more changes.

Activision rolled out Warzone Season 5 on July 24, introducing a WWE collab and a handful of brand-new weapons like the Spear and STG Assault Rifle.

While the latest update features several weapon-specific adjustments, none relate to the newer additions. Instead, the Superi 46 SMG has received another nerf, with one change decreasing its near-mid damage to 26.

The RPK JAK Cataclysm conversion kit has also undergone a few big adjustments. One major tweak decreased its min damage from 120 down to 57, for example.

This comes on the heels of players calling the JAK Cataclysm overpowered because the conversion kit had transformed the RPK into a one-shot killing machine.

• Developer’s Note: We have adjusted the RPK JAK Cataclysm conversion kit to make it a 3 bullet elimination at the max range, as long as that includes at least 1 headshot.
