Hawk Tuah girl Haliey Welch had a fan ask to buy a “jar of spit”
YouTube: One Night with SteinyHawk Tuah girl, Haliey Welch exposed some of the “weird requests” she has received since going viral, including one for a “jar of spit”.
Welch has not backed away from her newfound fame after appearing in the iconic street interview on TikTok in June 2024. She has already been making paid appearances as the Hawk Tuah girl, shared future plans for her own show, and linked up with various influencers and celebrities.
On August 6, Welch continued this trend by teaming up with NELK for a podcast episode on One Night with Steiny, joining Aaron ‘Steiny’ Steinberg, Bradley Martyn, and Sara Safari on the YouTube channel.
While discussing her sudden internet popularity, Welch once again brought up a fan’s request to buy a “jar of spit” when asked what the strangest offers she had received.

Steiny brought up the topic when he asked Welch about the “weird requests” she had received and if “people offered for [her] spit.”
“And my dirty underwear,” Welch confirmed, resulting in stunned reactions from the podcast hosts. Intrigued, Steiny asked whether she had been offered a price for these requests.
According to Welch, there had been “a few” different amounts presented to her, and she was unable to remember whether one person had attempted to buy a “jar of spit” for $600 or $6,000.
While Safari appeared taken aback by the request, Martyn and Steiny were more surprised Welch hadn’t accepted considering the amount of money on offer.
“Well I don’t want to know what they’re going to do with it,” Welch said, admitting she would also be worried about being “cloned” due to how technologically advanced the world is now. “That [would] freak me out. There’s already one of me, there don’t need to be two.”
Nonetheless, Martyn maintained that Welch “should sell the spit”, especially if the offer had been for $6,000. However, during a previous interview in July, Welch stated the number was in fact $600.
“Brad was the one that was trying to buy it,” Safari joked. “That’s why he’s like ‘You should sell it.'”
